The GT Coordinator will serve as a consultant to creativity students and/or their homeroom teacher to meld the open-ended standards driven projects their teacher assigns with the student’s personalized area of interest to create authentic, hands-on, in-depth learning opportunities. Students are often given a choice in product and process to exhibit learning. We'll teach students to see that creativity is everywhere, to be flexible in their thinking, to elaborate on their ideas, to understand what it means to be original, and to infuse a sense of humor into our work. The GT Coordinator will pull students with a Creativity ID once a month to use breakout boxes to further develop their creative minds and collaborative problem solving skills.
