5th Grade Web Resources
MobyMax: I've used this program the few years and have been very impressed. All my students will have an account here. Some nights Moby Math will be our HomeFun. Students are welcome to use other facets of Moby on their own time. At school each students will take a diagnostic assessment to determine what skills they securely have and where they are deficient. The program will then determine which standards based lessons your child needs. It provides math fact practice as well. I can see how long students are on and what they are mastering/struggling with. Students can also message me to let me know if they need any extra help.

Khan Academy: This year I plan on setting each student up with a Khan account as well. We'll try flipping the classroom with this learning adventure. The website is free and provides videos and practice on EVERY math topic you can imagine. Khan has recently teamed with NWEA, the creators of the MAP test. So, I can assign lessons based on students' MAP subscores. This should give them each the individual challenge they need.
